ES 700

A compact and user-friendly in-office finishing system, composed of the ES 700 edger and TCB 800 automatic tracer-centerer-blocker (TCB). It is the perfect solution to reach precision with ease.

ES 700M

A hybrid version, ES 700M, with a dual technology that combines milling and grinding, is capable of securing hydrophobic or delicate lenses, reducing the smell for mid- and high-index materials (MHI), and diminishing lens swarf and water consumption.

It incorporates Essilor Instruments’ state-of-the-art technologies, allowing for swift and accurate edging of all mountings including demanding eyewear.

• PERFECT TRACING AND CENTERING – Automatic centering and blocking for precise and accurate centering results, including wrap-around frames for a correct fit. Independent of lens marking and operator skills, TCB 800 automatically harmonizes frame base trajectory and adjusts centering data based on 3D parameters of the frame.  TCB 800 includes an optical center-blocking mode, useful in preventing de-axing for high-minus or prismatic lenses, and a pad positioner that helps operators to correctly position the pad on the edging block.
• FIT 4 FRAME 2.0 TECHNOLOGY – TCB 800 nails down the ideal fit of the lens without any compromise on aesthetics for all mountings and finishes. It produces a diverse array of bevels and accommodates various groove profiles, including both front and back step bevels. Shape modification is available in 8 different points of the shape perimeter for exceptionally meticulous customization.
• FULL HIGH-CURVE TECHNOLOGY – Avoid risks of breakage up to base 10 for wrap-around frames with a self-adjusting process incorporating a roughing cycle that automatically adapts to the curves of lenses. Optimize bevel placement and shelf depth for safe mounting without undue lens stress.
